California Kids Golf Tour is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated in providing young boys and girls a fun-friendly environment of which to learn life-enhancing lessons through the great game of golf. We provide series of tournaments to young golfers to help them improve their game and help them develop into becoming strong tournament golfers. We offer many opportunities to tournament golfers – local individual events, local team events, traveling golf team match play experience including international team event and world qualifier for Optimist International Junior Golf Championship.
CKG Tour also provides golf instruction to beginners through the CKG Tour Academy by teaching juniors how to play the game of golf through six levels of achievement. Advanced players who wish to enhance their game also attend the Academy. CKG Tour Academy combines proven teaching techniques and character building exercises that develops juniors into respectful, courteous and competitive golfers.
Through the academy, we reach out to economically disadvantage families to help their children learn and develop their skills to become competitive junior golfers. Some of the students have grown to playing competitively in the tour.
